New Waterfront Restaurant In Capital Region Praised For 'Awesome Service, Great Food'
After years of renovation and development work, a new tavern overlooking the Hudson River has finally opened its doors, serving up colorful cocktails, wood-fired pizza, and “elevated” pub food.
Greene County eatery Patrick Henry’s, located in Coxsackie at 48 South River Street, welcomed its first diners on Friday, April 7.
The restaurant occupies a historic, 1908 building that began as a mercantile exchange before later incarnations as Tom’s Cabin, Costello’s, and then the original Patrick Henry’s from 1970 until the 2010’s, owner Dominick Purnomo said on Facebook.

Woody Harrelson Thanks Hudson Valley Restaurant For Providing Food While Filming
Diners and residents might have been a little surprised when they spotted Hollywood star Woody Harrelson strolling down a local Hudson Valley street.
Harrelson, who is filming his new five-part HBO series in Newburgh, Kingston, and Poughkeepsie, was spotted in Beacon on Monday, May 17, where he went to thank a special vegan restaurant that had been providing his food during his stay.
Harrelson made a stop at the popular vegan cafe, Végétalien, where he chatted with the owner, Moises, and thanked them for providing such good food.
