Many Fairfield County residents are still without power a day after thunderstorms rocked the region, taking down trees and power lines.
As of 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday, April 14, Eversource was still working to restore power to 9,090 of its 1,279,556 Connecticut customers, while United Illuminating was reporting just six outages, with just one in Fairfield County.

Damaging Wind Gusts Knock Out Power To Thousands In Fairfield County
Thousands of Fairfield County residents lost power as wind gusts reaching upwards of 65 mph sent power lines flying.
As of 3 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 7, Eversource was reporting dozens of outages impacting 12,406 of their 1,278,540 Connecticut customers.
Danbury was hit the hardest, with 2,759 customers reporting outages, with more than 100 outages reported in New Canaan, and Newtown. Outages were also reported in Greenwich, Redding, and Westport.
A total of 288 United Illuminating customers are also without power, led by Shelton with 76.

Tens of thousands of Connecticut residents remain in the dark after a Nor’easter rocked the region, bringing whipping winds, rain and downing trees and power lines in the area.
As of 9:35 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 17, 39,655 of Eversource’s 1,276,791 customers were reporting outages, while 2,356 of United Illuminating’s 335,465 customers were still left in the dark.

Hundreds in Connecticut are still without power following a spate of strong thunderstorms that struck the area.
As of 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 20, 375 of Eversource’s customers were still without power, while 424 of United Illuminating customers were reporting outages.
On Monday, more than 5,000 outages were reported throughout Connecticut.

With severe thunderstorms rolling through the region, thousands of Connecticut residents were left without power.
Storms struck the area on Wednesday afternoon, July 31, leaving crews scrambling to restore power to several neighborhoods.
As of late Wednesday afternoon, Eversource was reporting multiple outages that left 1,390 of their 1,275,213 customers without power. In Fairfield County, Greenwich has the most outages with 69, followed by Stamford (51).

Thousands of Connecticut residents are without power as a nasty storm with whipping winds and heavy downpours rolls through the region.
As of 2:45 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 24, 9,582 Eversource and United Illuminating customers were reporting outages, down slightly from earlier in the day as crews work to restore power throughout the state.

United Illuminating is reporting that 1,159 are without power in Fairfield at 9:40 a.m. In addition, 55 are without power in Shelton and 12 in Trumbull.
