At 5:20 p.m., officers discovered the stolen car near the Galloping Hill Mall at 1350 Galloping Hill Rd., Township of Union police said. Officers surrounded the car with the goal of blocking it to prevent a pursuit, police said. Police Looking For Man Who Took 'Up-skirt' Photos In Union Police in Union are searching for a man who took intimate pictures of a female without her knowledge, a department spokesman said.  The incident occurred July 12 at a store in the 900 block of Springfield Road. The victim was wearing a skirt when the suspect took the pictures, police said.  The suspect was driving a silver 2012 Volkswagen Jetta.  The suspect, who was not immediately identified, is not from the area but is known to Union police, the spokesman also said.

Teen Stabbed In Union Tuesday Morning A teen boy was stabbed in the abdomen with a knife Tuesday morning, Capt. Scott Breslow of the Union Police Department said.  Little information about the incident was immediately available, but the boy, who is believed to be about 15, was wounded shortly after 8 a.m. at 1571 Walker Ave. He was taken to University Hospital in Newark.  Police are still working to identify a suspect, Breslow also said.

Landscaper In Union Killed In Work Accident A landscaper who was laying mulch at a worksite in Union was killed Friday morning when a co-worker accidentally ran over him with a truck.  The accident occurred in the parking lot of Costco, 1055 Hudson St., at 10:16 a.m. when a worker in a pickup struck the victim, police said. The victim, whose name was withheld pending notification of family, was pronounced dead at Overlook Hospital.  The accident is under investigation by Officer Micael Cocca of the Union Police Department. Union Police Adding Drone Unit, Joining A Growing Number Of Departments The Union Police Department has become the latest law enforcement agency to employ drones in public safety work, the agency announced Wednesday.  The UPD's Drone Unit will be called in on search and rescue operations, especially for missing children and elderly people, providing vital assistance for nighttime searches.  The small, flying craft will also be used in accident investigations and in searches for suspects when appropriate, the department said in a statement.  Capt.
