Tree Limb Falls 50 Feet, Killing Man Outside Lehigh County Home: Coroner
A man died after a large tree limb fell about 50 feet and struck him while he was working outside his Pennsylvania home, authorities announced Thursday, Sept. 24. The 78-year-old man was working outside his residence in Upper Milford Township when the limb fell and struck him in the head, according to Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio. He was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital–Cedar Crest, where he was pronounced dead in the emergency department at 4:44 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23.
