Man Killed When Tree Falls On Him In Wallkill: Police Investigating A 45-year-old man died after being struck by a tree he was cutting in Orange County, authorities said. The incident happened in the town of Wallkill on Thursday, Sept. 4, at around 1:30 p.m. in a wooded area near 38 Derby Rd., the Town of Wallkill Police Department announced on Saturday, Sept. 6. When officers arrived, they found the victim, a Sullivan County resident from Livingston Manor, unconscious and unresponsive on the ground. 76-Year-Old Fatally Injured While Cutting Tree In Monroe County: Officials A Somerset, New Jersey man was fatally struck by a falling tree branch in Middle Smithfield, according to authorities.  David M. Feingold, 76, was cutting a tree on June 29 when a large branch fell and hit him, said the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. The accident happened on the 200 block of Melvin Lane, officials said.  Feingold was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest where he died from complications of blunt-force trauma to the head on Sunday, July 14, the Coroner's Office said. His death was ruled accidental.

91-Year-Old Sussex County Man Killed By Tree He Was Cutting Down A 91-year-old Sussex County man was killed after a tree he was cutting down fell on him Tuesday evening, reports say. The man was cutting the tree at his property in the Sussex section of Vernon when it fell and caused fatal injuries just before 6:40 p.m., NJ.com reports citing police Capt. Keith C. Kimkowski. The victim’s identity was not immediately released.

PA Man Cutting Trees Dies When One Falls On Him A man in Cumberland County has died from a skull fracture sustained while cutting down trees, according to the York County coroner. Craig Metzger, 59 of Gardner, has died four days after he was hit by a tree limb at his home in the 200 block of Peach Glen Round. His official cause of death is subdural hematoma from a skull fracture. The manner of death has been ruled accidental.
