A traffic stop on I-87 in the New York's Hudson Valley led to the arrest of a man and woman from Western Massachusetts who were allegedly in possession of more than six pounds of heroin, police announced.
Troopers on patrol in Tarrytown at 9:20 p.m. on Saturday, May 15 stopped Springfield resident Andre Hickson, age 35, on I-87 when he committed a traffic violation, police said.

Man Drove Drunk With Two Children In Car In Westchester, Police Say
A 38-year-old man has been charged after police say he drove drunk in Westchester with two children in the car.
New York State Police stopped a vehicle on I-287 in the town of Greenburgh for a traffic violation just before midnight on Sunday, Nov. 24.
Further investigation revealed that the driver, identified as Ravi Gudhka, 38, of Equinunk, Pennsylvania, was driving while intoxicated, police say.
Gudhka was also traveling with a 10-year-old and a 14-year-old child in the car, police say.
