Bensalem Police Catch Serial Bank Robber Fleeing PNC Bank With $4K Cash: DA
A suspected serial bank robber was apprehended moments after he fled the PNC Bank on Hulmeville Road with $4,000 in cash on Monday, Dec. 23, authorities announced on Tuesday, Dec. 24.
Marc Masich, 47, of Amherst, NY, was captured by officers outside the bank at 5:21 p.m. while carrying a gray-and-white bag containing the stolen money, according to Bensalem police.

Four men were arrested and charged after they conspired to commit bank fraud at a TD Bank in Clinton Township, authorities said.
Following an investigation at the TD Bank on Route 31, officers were dispatched to a gas station for a report of suspicious activity, Clinton Township police said. The two vehicles were attempting to leave the parking lot and were in possession of stolen/forged bank checks, police said.

A Long Island man is accused in a string of bank robberies dating back years.
Nassau County Police arrested Joseph Dumpson, age 32, of Farmingville, early Wednesday, Nov. 27, in connection with three bank robberies that occurred in Nassau County in 2020.

A New Jersey man was nabbed after he scammed a Long Island law firm out of over $70,000 by using a fraudulent check, police said.
Nassau County Police announced that Osokam Ekufia, 44, of Newark, was arrested for the larceny, which happened in October 2022 in Massapequa.
On Oct. 5, 2022, a Massapequa law firm received a check from Ekufia worth $84,620.00.
The check was meant to be placed into an escrow account, and once it cleared, $77,500 was to be deposited into a TD Bank account.
