Maryland Woman Tased, Arrested, After Swinging Small Axe At Man: Police A woman has been arrested after she swung a small axe at a man in a Bladensburg parking lot and police saw it, reports WUSA9. The involved officers overheard the attack On Dec. 19th, and approached the pair, The Chief of the Bladensburg Police Department said. Police ended up tasing the woman and the male victim suffered minor injuries. Both were transported to a local hospital and the woman is now in custody. The incident took place around 5 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 28, when the Old Saybrook Police Department in Middlesex County received a 911 call from an employee at the Super Stop & Shop, located at 105 Elm St. According to Old Saybrook Chief of Police Michael A. Spera, the 911 caller reported that a woman was in the process of exiting the store with stolen merchandise. The woman, whose identity was not made public, began “exhibiting aggressive behavior” and threatened to use a taser on the employees at Taco Bell on JFK Blvd. when she was refused service Monday around 11:30 p.m., Jersey City Police Spokeswoman Kimberly Wallace-Scalcione said. The woman then left the restaurant, authorities said. No injuries were reported during the incident, which remains under investigation, Wallace-Scalcione said.
