A 19-year-old Mount Joy man was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound near the Lancaster Junction Trail, East Hempfield Township Police announced on Monday, May 5.
Emergency dispatchers received a 911 call around 3 p.m. on Friday, May 2, about a person with a gun to their head in the wooded area near Champ Boulevard and South Colebrook Road, according to the release. The call, it was later discovered, was made from the cell phone belonging to the deceased teen.

A Lebanon man shot a neighbor, set his apartment on fire, and killed himself before an eviction on Friday, April 11, police and prosecutors said.
Duane A. Ulmer, 62, opened fire around 4 a.m. in the 500 block of South 9th Street, Lebanon City police announced. Officers found a 55-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds outside an apartment building at 544 S. 9th Street. He was rushed to a local hospital, but despite life-saving efforts, he was pronounced dead at the Hershey Medical Center, police said.

A married couple found shot to death inside their Montgomery County home last week have been identified as victims of a murder-suicide, police said.
Kate Simoni Fralin, 61, was killed by her husband, William Scott Fralin, 63, inside their house on the 8500 block of Connecticut Avenue in Chevy Chase, according to the Montgomery County Department of Police.
Officers and fire rescue personnel were called to the scene around 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2, after someone found the couple dead with apparent gunshot wounds. A gun and ammunition were found nearby.

Forest M. Touchberry, 31, was found unresponsive in the facility before being rushed to St. Luke’s Hospital, Sacred Heart Campus, where he was pronounced dead at 3:29 p.m. on Thursday, March 13, according to the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office.
