An out-of-control vehicle slammed into a home on Long Island on Thursday, July 9, knocking out power, starting a gas leak, and leaving the home unsafe, authorities said.
Cops said a 25-year-old driver suffered a medical issue behind the wheel, sending his car careening through an intersection and off the streets, News 12 Long Island reported.
Investigators said the vehicle pushed another car into the intersection, just missed a first house, crashed through two fences and a shed, then collided with the second home, according to News 12.

A school bus careened into three rowhomes after clipping a trailer during a turn in North Philadelphia, police announced on Tuesday, May 27.
The crash happened around 7:10 a.m. on the 2600 block of North 17th Street as the bus, operated by the School District of Philadelphia, attempted to make a right turn from Huntingdon Street, according to the Philadelphia Police Department.

Truck Crashes Into Building, Driver Arrested: Cherry Hill PD
A driver was arrested after his truck crashed into a residential building in Cherry Hill on Tuesday, April 15, authorities said.
At 11:57 a.m., officers responded to a crash near 1800 Burroughs Mills Circle, Cherry Hill police said. While the incident appears to be isolated and unintentional, police said, the driver, a 37-year-old man from Schenectady, New York was arrested.
Police did not name the driver nor say why he was arrested, citing "the ongoing nature of the investigation."

A house in Montgomery County was struck by lightning during a thunderstorm on Thursday evening, Feb. 22, authorities said.
The two-story house at 21600 Gentry Ln. near Cross Meadow Lane was struck by lightning accompanied by “extreme thunder” around 5:45 p.m., Montgomery County (MD) Fire & Rescue Service Chief Spokesperson Pete Piringer said.
No fire or injuries were reported, though the home did sustain other structural damages, displacing five residents, Piringer added.
