A Connecticut man has been nabbed for a hit-and-run crash that killed a 52-year-old.
Jahbez Copeland, age 23, of South Windsor, was arrested on Wednesday, Oct. 26, by Hartford Police for the crash which took place on Saturday, Jan. 1 in the area of Main and Battles Street.
On Jan. 1, patrol officers responded to the area of Main Street at Battles Street on a report of a serious crash involving a pedestrian, said Lt. Aaron Boisvert, of the Hartford Police.

The Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection Food, Standards and Product Safety issued a food safety warning on Thursday, Aug. 11, for EZ Noble Sushi, which was available for purchase during the week of Monday, Aug. 8, at Geissler’s Supermarkets in Connecticut and Massachusetts.
EZ Noble Sushi recalled several products that contain undeclared eggs, wheat, and milk.

The owner of a Connecticut convenience store and his father, who helped him operate the business, have admitted to a food stamps fraud offense.
Hartford County residents Javed Saeed, age 52, and 68-year-old Dastgir Saeed, both of South Windsor, pleaded guilty on Tuesday, May 10, to conspiracy to commit food stamp fraud, according to Vanessa Roberts Avery, United States attorney for the District of Connecticut.
