(Update) Hit, Run Crash: Man, Age 30, Seriously Injured In South Boston, Police Say
A man was critically injured after a car crashed into him, sending him flying into the air and slamming back into the ground in South Boston, authorities said.
The man, approximately 30 years old, was walking across Columbia Road at the Exit 14 ramp from Route 93 North before 2:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 10, when a red sedan slammed into him, Boston police said. The man, whose name was not released, received potentially life-threatening injuries in the crash.
