The sinkhole opened in the afternoon Thursday in the exit lane for Exit 49N in Melville, according to the New York State Department of Transportation. Photos showed a Honda sedan with New Jersey license plates with its front end in the giant gap. Cyberattack Limits Hudson Valley City Services: Here's What A cyberattack on a Hudson Valley city's network security is preventing residents from numerous functions, including paying their water bills or property taxes, and many others.
