Man, Woman Plead Guilty In Shooting Near Atlantic City Apartment Complex: Prosecutors
A man and a woman admitted to their roles in a shooting near an Atlantic City apartment complex more than a year and a half ago, authorities said.
Tawanne Williams, 42, of Philadelphia, and Jessica Bryant, 33, of Atlantic City, pleaded guilty to charges on Monday, May 6. The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office announced their pleas in a news release on Tuesday, May 7.
Atlantic City police responded to a man who was shot twice near the Carolina Village complex on Aug. 31, 2022. The man's injuries to his hand and hip were not life-threatening.

Driver Who Killed 2 At Violent H2Oi Wildwood Car Rally Sentenced
A Pennsylvania man will spend at least two decades in prison for killing two people during an illegal car rally in Wildwood, authorities said.
Gerald White, 38, of Pittsburgh, was sentenced on Thursday, Feb. 8 to 25 years in prison, for killing two people at the violent H2oi car rally in 2022, Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland announced.
White has a long history of traffic violations in New Jersey, dating back to 2005. After other repeated offenses, he was charged with having a suspended driver's license during traffic stops in 2011, 2013, and 2020.

Murder For Man Accused Of Strangling Woman, 25, In South Jersey Home
A 24-year-old man has been charged in the fatal shooting of a 25-year-old woman Monday, July 3 in Cumberland County, authorities said.
Steven Gonzalez has been charged with first-degree murder and second-degree aggravated assault, following the strangulation on Monday, July 3, Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McCrae said.
Members of the Millville Police Department found the victim dead on the 200 block of Riverside Drive, police said.

SWAT Team Helps Capture Gunman Wanted In Bar Shooting, 2nd Suspect At Large: Linden PD
The Union County SWAT Team helped in capture a 27-year-old man accused of opening fire at a nightclub and wounding three people, while a second suspect remains at large, authorities said.
Najir Paige got into a fight at the bar at Menga Lounge in Linden when he left, got a handgun from a car, came back and fired shots through the front door around 2 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, Linden police said.
A 28-year-old man, 24-year-old woman and 23-year-old woman were injured in the attack.
