A driver is in critical condition following a wrong way crash on Route 29 in Trenton on the early morning of Sunday, March 2 that overturned two vehicles, authorities said. At 4:21 a.m., Trenton police and fire responded to Route 29 North at Calhoun Street and found two vehicles with catastrophic damage, Captain Lisette Rios of the Trenton police said. High Winds Wreak Havoc In NJ Leaving Roads Closed, Hundreds Without Power
Wind gusts up to 50 mph were wreaking havoc across New Jersey on Friday, Aug. 9. As of 2:30 p.m., thousands of residents were without power and multiple roadways were closed due to downed wires and related crashes. Driver Hospitalized After Smashing Into Roadway Service Vehicle In Mercer County
A 23-year-old driver was hospitalized after she crashed into an unoccupied roadway service vehicle along Route 29 in Mercer County, authorities said. Majanae Burke, of Bordentown, was driving northbound in a Honda Civic near milepost 0.7 in Hamilton at about 1:15 a.m. Tuesday, May 28 when she veered off the highway and struck a guardrail before rear-ending the Ford F350 pickup, New Jersey State Police said. The woman suffered serious injuries. No one else was hurt., State Police said.

Driver Hurt As Truck Strikes Tree In Hunterdon County
A truck driver was taken to a nearby hospital after crashing into a tree in Hunterdon County Thursday, August 3, authorities said. Two Philadelphia men were charged after they were caught trafficking more than a pound and a half of cocaine and PCP to Mercer County, authorities announced. Philadelphia residents Jorge Mercado-Torres, 28, and Christopher Seabrook, 47, were taken into custody Monday and charged with first-degree narcotics offenses and second-degree weapons offenses, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. The driver of a Chevrolet pickup truck died in a fiery crash on a state highway in South Jersey overnight, authorities said.
