Sussex County Motorcycle Crash Shuts Portion Of Route 206
A motorcycle accident closed a portion of Route 206 in Frankford Wednesday morning. The incident occurred around 11:40 a.m. in the northbound lanes near mile marker 120, initial reports say. Resident, 61, Killed In Burlington County Fire, First Of Three Local Blazes In Under 24 Hours
A fast-moving house fire killed a 61-year-old Burlington County man, authorities confirmed. Three other residents reportedly fled the flames, which responders said quickly engulfed the home and shot through the roof after igniting shortly before 5 p.m. Friday. Smoke billowed from a burning vehicle that spread flames to a grassy area Wednesday afternoon in Newton. Firefighters worked to contain the blaze that started in a minivan in front of the Walmart on Route 206 around 2:30 p.m. No injuries were reported and the fire was under control in minutes. 'Nightmare Became Reality' For Family Of Stanhope Boy Fatally Struck By Dump Truck
The community is rallying for a Stanhope family following the tragic death of their 2-year-old boy. The Ramirez family's worst nightmare became a reality when Max, the youngest child, was struck by the dump truck on Route 206 while riding his bike Monday, according to a GoFundMe page.
