Connecticut State Police officials have released the number of calls for services and vehicle crashes troopers have responded to so far entering Thanksgiving weekend, during the holiday enforcement period. As of early Saturday morning, state police received 5,046 calls for service since the start of Thanksgiving Holiday enforcement period. A 29-year-old New York City woman was killed in a horrific four-vehicle, chain-reaction crash that occurred early Thanksgiving morning. Two people received minor injuries in a three-vehicle crash that blocked Route 15 at the Milford Parkway for about an hour. According to Connecticut State Police, the chain-reaction crash, which backed up traffic for several miles, occurred around 12:15 p.m. Thursday in Stratford.
