Two Hospitalized After Route 15 Crash: Njsp
Two people were hospitalized following a crash on Route 15 in Sussex County on the evening of Wednesday, July 3, state police said.
At 11:55 p.m., a MW passenger vehicle was traveling southbound in Lafayette Township when it veered off the roadway, struck a pedestrian, sign and a tree, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The pedestrian, a 43-year-old woman sustained moderate injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, Lebron said.
The driver, a 17-year-old Sparta resident, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to a nearby hospital, Lebron said.

Motorcyclist Killed In Crash That Causes Five-Hour Route 15 Closure, State Police Say
One motorcycle rider was killed during a crash with another motorcycle on northbound Route 15 Tuesday, July 2.
Julio Rodriguez, 31, of Hartford, was killed around 1 a.m. in the area of Exit 85 in Hartford, said the Connecticut State Police.
Troopers said the two motorcycles were traveling on Route 15 north when both drivers lost control of their bikes at the same time and struck the right shoulder metal guardrails.
The driver of the other motorcycle, Charles Wooding, 24, of Vernon, suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Hartford Hospital.

New Train Station In Bridgeport Is Part Of Lamont's Toll Proposal
Several new train stations may be coming to Connecticut - including one in Fairfield County - under Gov. Ned Lamont’s toll plan proposal.
Earlier this month, the governor released a 24-page preliminary draft of his electronic highway tolling plan, which calls for no more than 50 gantries on Interstates 91, 95, 84, and along Route 15, which includes the Merritt and Wilbur Cross parkways.
