Motorcycle Crash Victim, 23, ID'd By Police In South Jersey
Police have identified the Salem County motorcyclist killed when he collided with a school bus earlier this month.
Joel Morales, 23, of Carneys Point Township, was riding north on Route 130 at about 2 p.m. on Feb. 1 when he collided with a bus pulling out of Ross Enterprises, near Washington Avenue, according to Carneys Point Police Detective Joseph Racite.
Morales was pronounced dead at the scene, Racite said.
There were no students aboard the bus at the time, Racite said. The bus driver was not injured, he said.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, he said.

Police ID 3 People Killed In Collision With School Bus In Central Jersey
Authorities have identified the three people killed when their Toyota Camry collided with a school bus in South Brunswick, authorities said.
Ellen Brotman, 86, Alba Olivencia, 87, and Wilson Olivencia, 90, all of Monroe Township. were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on Route 130 at 5:25 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 31, they said.
The bus driver suffered minor injuries in the crash, police said.
The two students on the bus, ages 17 and 15, were not injured, police said.

Two drunk drivers were arrested after the weekend after wrong-way incidents in South Brunswick, authorities said.
A police dashcam captured one of the wrong-way drivers on video.

A 43-year-old woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Middlesex County over the weekend, authorities said.
Kerri Lynn Shea, of East Windsor, was struck at the intersection of Route 130 and Route 32 in South Brunswick, just before 10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and South Brunswick Police Chief Raymond Hayducka said.

An Illinois man was charged after a Mercer County drug investigation turned up approximately $300,000 worth of heroin and fentanyl, authorities announced.
Job Carranza-Ocampo, 31, had about two kilograms of heroin as officers investigating drug distribution in the area conducted a search of his Ford F150 in a parking lot on Route 130 in Hamilton Township on Thursday, Feb. 17, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said.
