Two Long Island men are facing federal charges for allegedly running sex trafficking rings.
Lamont Young, age 41, of Hauppauge, and Michail McKen, age 35, of Baldwin are named in separate indictments that were unsealed in federal court in Central Islip Wednesday, Sept. 27.
According to prosecutors, both men forced women to engage in prostitution by subjecting them to violence.

The wife of Rex Heuermann, the suspected Long Island Gilgo Beach killer, has reportedly filed for divorce less than a week after his arrest.
Heuermann, of the village of Massapequa Park in Nassau County, is charged with killing Melissa Barthelemy, Megan Waterman, and Amber Costello and burying their bodies in a grassy area of Gilgo Beach, located in the town of Babylon in Suffolk County.

Four Teens Nabbed For Break-In At School In Shirley, Scrawling Graffiti, Police Say

Four teenagers were charged following a break-in at a Long Island elementary school.
The Suffolk County Police Department announced the arrests of 19-year-old Salvatore Davis, of Mastic Beach, along with an unnamed 16-year-old boy and 17-year-old boy, who are both residents of Shirley, on Thursday, Nov. 17.
They all were charged by Hate Crimes Unit detectives with third-degree burglary, SCPD said.
SCPD said on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 19-year-old Aydan Dellysse-Fox, of Shirley, was also arrested for the burglary.
