Man Charged After Sideswiping Vehicle, Causing Crash While Racing On I-684, Police Say A 27-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly sideswiping a vehicle on Interstate 684 in an incident in which one person was injured when an SUV overturned on the highway, closing Route 22 in both directions on Tuesday, April 16. The incident took place northbound around 2:20 p.m. in Purdys, when the vehicle rolled over the side of I-684 just south of Exit 7, jumped the guardrail and landed on its roof on Route 22, said state police.
