Trenton Man Hospitalized After Getting Trapped Under Lawn Mower In Hunterdon County
A Trenton man was hospitalized after getting trapped under an overturned lawn mower in Hunterdon County Wednesday morning. The victim was mowing the lawn at a home on Smoke Rise Lane in Clinton when he slid down a hill, causing the mower to slide off the property and overturn around 11 a.m., Clinton Township Police said. The victim was ejected from the mower, which then landed on top of him and partially submerged him into the mud, police said. The man was freed with help from South Branch Emergency Services and taken to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital.

A driver had a medical episode and died during an argument over a parking spot in Carteret, state authorities confirmed. Acting Attorney General Andrew J. Pedestrian Airlifted In Clark Crash
A pedestrian was airlifted to the hospital after being struck by a car in Clark Saturday afternoon, authorities said. The 85-year-old resident was walking west on the sidewalk in front of Santander Bank when they were struck by a Jetta heading east on Raritan Road, Clark Police Det. Lt. Christian Lott said. The driver of the Jetta stayed on scene and is cooperating with police. The victim was airlifted to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick with unknown injuries, police said.

East Brunswick Township suffered another tragic drowning on Saturday, this time involving a 4-year-old boy during a Kindergarten graduation party, authorities said. The body of a Newark police officer who died of coronavirus was escorted from the hospital by a motorcade. Officer Michael Conners, 58, died of COVID-19 complications April 30.
