Following a tragic crash that left a mother and son dead after they were struck by a school bus, several new safety measures will be implemented on the Westchester roadway where the incident happened. Thruway Pavement Upgrades Completed In Hudson Valley
After more than six months of work and road closures, the paving upgrades to the New York State Thruway are complete in the Hudson Valley. Gov, Kathy Hochul announced Thursday, Nov. 30, the completion of the $44.6 million pavement improvement project on I-87 in a critical corridor spanning Rockland and Orange counties used by approximately 92,000 vehicles daily.
