Busy Garden State Parkway Exit Ramps Will Close For 9 Months
Two ramps of the Garden State Parkway, at Exit 105, will close in April for nine months of upgrades, the New Jersey Turnpike Authority announced. A northbound entrance ramp and a southbound exit ramp in Tinton Falls will completely shut down on April 18 as a contractor replaces the decks, beams and parapets of three bridges, the authority said in a news statement. Expect Delays: Lane Closure Announced For Stretch Of Hutchinson River Parkway
Officials are alerting motorists about a planned lane closure on the Hutchinson River Parkway. The New York State Department of Transportation said the right northbound lane of the parkway is set to close in Westchester County between Exit 8 (Webster Avenue) in New Rochelle and Exit 11 (State Route 125) in Scarsdale due to construction. The closure will take place on between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 31, and Friday, April 1, officials said.

Work is now underway on projects totaling around $100 million to improve safety and traffic flow on the Long Island Expressway. A $19.7 million project will lengthen three acceleration lanes and three deceleration lanes on I-495 in Queens, according to Gov. Kathy Hochul on Wednesday, Oct. 20. Two people standing outside their SUV on Interstate 195 in Mercer County were seriously hurt when a pickup truck collided with another truck which then struck the pedestrians, authorities said.
