'Serial Rapist' Convicted Of 3 Violent Hempstead Incidents
A 36-year-old "serial rapist" was found guilty Friday, Sept. 6, of raping three women on Long Island after DNA linked him to the attacks, some of which stretch back nearly a decade, authorities said.
Queens resident Adell Hardwick, age 36, was convicted of three counts of rape, predatory sexual assault, and three counts of criminal sexual act, the Nassau County District Attorney's Office said.
He faces up to 25 years to life in prison when he's sentenced on Thursday, Sept. 26.

A 33-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly raping a 77-year-old woman multiple times after breaking into her Long Island home.
Kenneth Saquon Mallete, homeless, was arrested on Wednesday, March 25, for the rape that took place on Saturday, March 21 in Roosevelt, said the Nassau County Police.
Mallete was nabbed following an investigation by officers with the Special Victims Squad, First Squad detectives, and the NYPD, police said.

A 26-year-old man is behind bars after state police say he illegally entered an area residence, demanded money, then physically and sexually assaulted the victim.
