Suspect At Large After Armed Robbery At Western Mass Convenience Store Police are searching for an armed man who allegedly robbed a Western Massachusetts convenience store. The incident took place in Berkshire County around 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 31, in Pittsfield. Shortly after, members of the Pittsfield Police Department responded to the Mobil Mart located at 580 North St., for a reported armed robbery, said Lieutenant Michael Maddalena.  Arriving units spoke with the Mobil Mart clerk who was unharmed during the incident. On Monday, Jan. 25, around 11 a.m. police released photos to the public of a suspect in hopes that that person can be identified. Since Sunday, Jan. 24, afternoon, law enforcement agencies in Pittsfield and Lenox have responded to 5 robberies at 5 convenience stores, Pittsfield Police said.
