A Connecticut town was ordered to stay inside after a man wanted for questioning in an armed robbery crashed his car into a pole and ran away, leaving behind his two children and a woman in the vehicle in Tolland County, authorities said.
Kyle Joseph Fortier, age 33, of Windham, is charged with two counts of risk of injury to a minor, interfering with an officer, and evading responsibility, Connecticut State Police said.

A Rhode Island man who pleaded guilty to his role in a conspiracy to move methamphetamines throughout the United States using children's toys and other seemingly mundane items was sentenced to seven years in prison on Tuesday, Sept. 19, authorities said.
Nathan Boddie, 38, of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, admitted that he and two others began smuggling methamphetamines, fentanyl, and cocaine from Arizona into Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and elsewhere in April 2022, the US Attorney for Massachusetts said.

Three individuals appeared in federal court in Boston for their roles in a conspiracy that allegedly moved numerous controlled substances across the county in boxes of children's items, federal officials said.
Denise Guyette, 29, of Woonsocket, RI, Gerardo Garza, 47, of Yuma, AZ, and Nathan Boddie, 38, of Pawtucket, RI, were each indicted on one count of conspiracy to distribute and to possess with intent to distribute controlled substances on Friday, Feb. 17, the US Attorney's Office for Massachusetts reports.

The Massachusetts State Police have added two more men to its Most Wanted List - a third man was added just the day before.
