Suffolk County Police issued a Silver Alert for Patchogue resident William Stewart on Monday, Feb. 26. The 72-year-old, who has dementia, was last seen leaving his North Ocean Avenue residence in a taxi at around 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 23. Relatives haven’t seen or heard from him since. Stewart is approximately 6-foot-1 and 230 pounds with white hair and blue eyes.
