A woman seen outside of her home in bloodied clothing has been charged with first-degree murder in a Passaic County stabbing, authorities announced. Jamilette Huaranga, 21, of Haledon, has been charged with first-degree murder and related weapon offenses on accusations she stabbed a 19-year-old man around 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday, July 19, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Shots Fired At Clifton Dunkin' Donuts
No one was struck in a shooting Wednesday night at a Dunkin' Donuts in Clifton, responders said. A bullet came through the window of the shop at the corner of Van Houten Avenue and Wonham Street following what apparently was a drive-by shortly after 9 p.m. July 12. The shop was open at the time, but there was no one inside or outside the store when it happened, a shaken employee said. Erlyn Nunez had spent all of five days in jail after being busted on a gun charge when a judge freed him earlier this year under New Jersey's bail reform law.
