Jhonnier Gamboa Acosta, 24, was believed to have been shot and killed by Juan Perez, 67, on Park Avenue between 37th and 41st streets around 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Woman Jumps From Bridge Near Bedford Hills Train Station A woman was injured after jumping from an overpass near a Northern Westchester train station, police said. The incident happened on Sunday evening, June 23, when a woman jumped from the Route 117 overpass and landed in a Metro-North parking lot near the Bedford Hills station, according to the Bedford Police Department.  The woman survived the jump but was injured and taken to the hospital, police said, adding that she suffered broken bones.

They wanted a parking lot for the pool closed since 2015 and, according to WFMZ, they could be getting just that — complete with 63 spaces. The Reading City Council talked about handing over the East Reading Pool site to the Reading Parking Authority in Monday, Sept. 12 meeting, the outlet says.
