Seen Him? Police Seach For Man Responsible For Multiple Long Island Crimes
Police are asking the community to keep a lookout for a 21-year-old who they say is responsible for multiple larcenies on Long Island.
Vincent Fredericks, age 21, of Oceanside, is thought to be responsible for multiple crimes across Nassau County, according to a post by the NCPD on Friday, March 1.
The department is asking Long Islanders to keep an eye out for the wanted man, who is 5-foot-5, weighs approximately 100 pounds, and has brown hair and eyes.
Though it is unclear where he was last seen, Fredericks is said to operate a white 2012 Kia Sportage.

A trio of men involved in a string of burglaries targeting Long Island makeup stores have been caught, police announced.
The suspected thieves were caught on Friday, Dec. 15 in Oceanside, according to Nassau County Police.
At approximately 3:30 p.m. that day, the three men — Rickardo Wallace, age 22 of Queens, Devon Findlay, age 30 of Brooklyn, and Shakair Moncrieffe, age 25, also a Brooklyn resident — were seen entering the Sephora located at 3715 Long Beach Road with backpacks.

Man Chucks Metal Crate At Long Island Convenience Store Employee, Police Say
A Long Island man was nabbed after he allegedly caused a scene at a local convenience store, eventually throwing a metal case at an employee and injuring her, police reported.
It happened on Sunday, Dec. 3 in Oceanside.
According to Nassau County Police, 27-year-old Stephen J. Jensen had walked into Venom Beer and Convenience, located at 230 Merrick Road, just before 2:30 p.m. and began to cause a disturbance.
A woman who worked at the store reportedly asked Jensen, a Rockville Centre, to leave the store multiple times.

Rite Aid has announced specific store closures just days after the struggling pharmacy chain filed for bankruptcy.
Of the 154 closures nationwide announced on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 20 are in New York, 14 of which are on Long Island.

Man Nabbed For Burglary, Injuring Gas Station Employee On Long Island: Police
A Long Island man was arrested after he broke into a gas station, injuring an employee in the process, police said.
It happened on Monday, Oct. 9 in Lakeview, according to Nassau County Police.
At approximately 2:40 a.m., Oceanside resident John Masone, age 55, walked up to the Exxon gas station located at 820 Hempstead Avenue and tried to get inside.
An employee at the gas station told Masone that they were closed. However, this did not stop him.
Police said he became agitated and broke the gas station’s front door.
