Car Crash With Injures Snarls Traffic On Bedminster In Somerset County: Njdot A 21-year-old woman was injured after her car crashed into a tree on Route 287 in Somerset County in Monday, Aug. 4, authorities said. At 7:35 a.m., a Nissan SUV was traveling northbound on Route 287 in Bedminster Township when it ran off the roadway to the left and struck a tree, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey Police said. The driver sustained serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital, Lebron said. The crash led to traffic being heavily backed up in the area, footage from NJDOT showed. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

Troopers responded around 10:19 p.m. to the northbound lanes near milepost 28.4 in Bernards Township, Sgt. Charles Marchan said. A Harley-Davidson motorcycle and a Volkswagen passenger car were both traveling north when, near milepost 28.4, the Harley-Davidson impacted the Volkswagen, Marchan said.
