Troopers responded around 10:19 p.m. to the northbound lanes near milepost 28.4 in Bernards Township, Sgt. Charles Marchan said.

A Harley-Davidson motorcycle and a Volkswagen passenger car were both traveling north when, near milepost 28.4, the Harley-Davidson impacted the Volkswagen, Marchan said.

As a result of the collision, the vehicles ran off the road to the right, Marchan said.

The driver of the Volkswagen was not hurt.
