Two Winning $1M Mega Millions Lottery Tickets Sold In NJ, Jackpot Soars Past $1B
There were two second-tier prizewinning tickets sold for the Tuesday, July 26, drawing that matched five of the five white balls drawn winning $1 million prizes.
There were no jackpot winners. The jackpot has now grown to $1,025,000,000.
Those $1 million tickets were sold at the following locations:
Bergen County: 7-Eleven #34523, 29 County Rd., Tenafly; and,

Police: Lotto Player Turned Robber, 53, Threatens To Torch North Jersey Convenience Store
An Essex County lottery player threatened to burn down a North Jersey convenience store in order to carry out a robbery, authorities charged.
Elvis Holder, 53, asked a cashier to play lottery numbers for him at DJH News Stand on La France Avenue around 8 p.m. on Feb. 22, Bloomfield Public Safety Director Samuel DeMaio said.
Holder, of East Orange, started pouring an unknown substance from a Nestle water bottle onto the counter, took out a lighter and told the cashier to “give him everything in the register” while threatening to ignite the substance, DeMaio said.

A lucky winning Mega Millions ticket was sold on Tuesday in Burlington County, New Jersey Lottery officials said.
The third-tier, prize-winning ticket was sold by Township News Center at 2506 Mount Holly Road in Burlington.
The player who bought the winning ticket selected the Megaplier option, meaning their $10,000 prize was tripled to $30,000, state Lottery officials said.
