A bagel shop with a slight misnomer is heading to another Massachusetts town.
NYC Bagel Factory, which, surprisingly, has no locations in New York, announced that it will open its fourth Massachusetts location in Newton later this year.
The new spot will be located at 839 Washington Street, the bagel shop said in a Facebook post.

'Local Legend' Dies Suddenly, Remembered For Spreading Joy Through Merrimack Valley
A beloved artist who spread joy through markers and paper died at age 43, sparking an outpouring of love and support.
Tomaso Schena, a local artist with a big following, died suddenly on Friday, May 5 in Newton, according to the City of Haverhill Mayor's Office.
Images of Schena's art, all made in his signature, colorful style, spread across Facebook in the days after his passing.
"Tomaso Schena seemed to illustrate everyone within a 50+ mile radius of Haverhill during his very short life," said one Facebook post memorializing the artist.

Newton Ice Rink Stabber ID'd As 27-Year-Old Dorchester Woman, Police Say
A driver was so infuriated that her car nearly came into contact with another vehicle that she followed the other driver and stabbed him, police say.
Imani Abraham, 27, was arrested on Wednesday, May 10 for stabbing a 32-year-old Quincy man in the parking lot of Daly Ice Rink in Newton on Thursday, May 4, according to the Massachusetts State Police.
Abraham followed the 32-year-old from Route 93 in Dorchester, where their cars nearly came into contact, to the Newton ice rink. She then got out of her car, stabbed her victim once in the leg, and drove away.

Popular Newton Brewery Pours Last Pint Months After Opening
A popular spot for beer, trivia, and quality time with neighbors moved locations in early 2023, and only a few months later announced that it had closed for good.
Burke's Alewerks, owned by Brian Burke and originally located in Hanover, moved its operations to West Newbury in January 2023, and announced its closure on Monday, May 8, according to a post on the brewery's Facebook page.
