A Connecticut man was arrested after two firefighters and a tractor-trailer driver were injured during a fiery crash on I-91.
The crash took place around Wednesday, March 8 at 11:15 p.m., on I-91 southbound in New Haven.
According to Connecticut State Police, the New Haven Fire department was responding to a motor vehicle collision, a black BMW driven by Wilton Ketter, age 22, of West Haven, side-swipe a tractor-trailer along with a passenger car, then spun out striking a New Haven Fire truck.

New Haven Firefighter Thomas Mieles, age 27, was driving north on I-91 when his car became disabled in the left lane around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 2.
Mieles, of New Haven, who was outside of his car, died when he was hit by an SUV during the crash, said the Connecticut State Police.

A Fairfield County man has been charged with manslaughter and risk of injury in the death of a four-month-old baby.
Angel Rodriguez, age 35, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Monday, Jan. 4, by warrant for the death of the child on Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2019, said Patrick J. Griffin, Connecticut's Attorney for the Judicial District of New Haven.

One person was killed and two others seriously injured during a fire in a multi-family home in Connecticut.
The New Haven Fire Department received word of the two-alarm fire around 2 a.m., Monday, Jan. 4, at 151 Saltonstall Ave., in New Haven, said the New Haven Fire Department.
When firefighters arrived on the scene they found a large working fire, with three people trapped on the top floor of the three-story building, the department said.
