11-Year-Old Killed By Fallen Tree In Putnam An 11-year-old boy was killed Friday afternoon when a tree crashed through a home amid the Nor'easter, according to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department. The tragic death occurred on 33 Dunderberg Road in Putnam Valley at about 12:15 p.m. When Deputy Charlie Johnson arrived, he observed a large tree had fallen and crashed into the home, trapping the young boy underneath.
