The Mets signed the 33-year-old Park Ridge native off waivers from the Milwaukee Brewers, the MLB confirmed Monday, Nov. 4. The Kean University Hall of Famer was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 39th round of the 2013 MLB Draft. Herget made his MLB debut in 2022 with the Tampa Bay Rays.
