A 66-year-old Harrisburg man is facing multiple felony charges after allegedly raping a 9-year-old girl at her family’s home, authorities announced on Wednesday, Jan. 23.
Arnold Courtney was arrested by the Harrisburg Police and U.S. Marshals Service on Tuesday, Jan. 21. He is charged with Felony Rape of a Child, Felony Aggravated Indecent Assault, Felony Corruption of Minors, and Misdemeanor Indecent Assault, according to police.

Escape Attempt? Carlisle County Prison Inmate Kicks Out Window, Police Say
An inmate kicked out a window at the Cumberland County Prison, Middlesex Township Police announced on Friday, Aug. 2.
Michael Phil-Lemonte Harden, 36, of Harrisburg, was in prison for "Disorderly Conduct Engage In Fighting" when he kicked the glass out of a window, on July 6, according to court documents and the police.
"Harden was in prison for other charges when he became violent kicking out the window," police wrote in the release. It is unclear if he wanted to use the glass in a fight, escape through the window, if it was an accident, or something else.

Owner, Worker Charged After SLA Inspection At Long Island Restaurant
An owner and worker at a Long Island restaurant were both charged after a New York State Liquor Authority Inspection overnight.
In response to numerous community complaints, Suffolk County Police say they and other agencies conducted the inspection at the Three Stars Restaurant, on West Hills Road in Huntington Station, at 10:40 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18.
