A 43-year-old man wanted on assault and strangulation charges turned himself in to police. Darnell L. Davis, of Miami Beach, turned himself into Greenwich Police on Tuesday after being advised of an active warrant for his arrest for an event that took place in Greenwich on August 15 on Orchard Hill Lane, Greenwich Police said. Following his surrender, Davis was charged with assault, strangulation/suffocation, and unlawful restraint. He chose not to post the $10,000 bond, police said.
