Trenton Shooting Victim ID'd, 29th Homicide In 2020 Authorities have identified the man shot multiple times, and killed, late Friday. Hussain Abdullah, 35, of Trenton died of gunshot wounds after the shooting on the 200 block of Spring Street, according to Casey DeBlasio, a spokeswoman for the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office.  Trenton police responded to a Shot Spotter activation at 11 p.m., DeBlasio said. Abdullah was found in the street.  He was taken to an  area hospital where he was pronounced dead, she said. The body of Severn Drew, 65, was found in the debris of the Sept. 23 fire on the 700 block of Southard Street, according to Casey DeBlasio, a spokeswoman with the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office. An autopsy concluded that Drew’s cause of death was carbon monoxide asphyxiation, DeBlasio said on Wednesday. The fire and death remain under investigation. They were fighting over his lost cellphone, according to NJ Advance Media, citing court papers. Irvin Hayes, 33, was arrested by the Mercer County Homicide Task Force on murder and weapons charges in the Aug. 25 death of Shamira Williams, 32, of Trenton.  Trenton police were called to Williams' home the day after Hayes' release from Montgomery County Jail in Pennsylvania, according to NJ.com.
