Eric Bauza, whose voice brought some of animation’s most familiar characters to life, has died suddenly, his family announced.
The Emmy-winning actor was 46. He died Sunday, Oct. 25, at his Los Angeles home, NBC News reported, citing the Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office.
His family confirmed his death in a brief Instagram announcement, identifying him as the modern voice of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and dozens of other cartoon characters.
NBC reported that the medical examiner’s office noted a diagnosis of hypertensive cardiovascular disease.

Warner Bros. announced it’s officially reviving the Gremlins franchise, with a brand-new installment set to hit theaters in 2027, marking the series’ first film in nearly four decades.
