The 130 miles of Jersey Shore offers about 50 public beaches to choose from. Daily, weekly and seasonal beach badge and tag prices have been set for the 2023 season. PA Woman Charged In Stabbing Death Of Her Jersey Shore Dad, His GF .A 55-year-old Pennsylvania woman has been arrested on accusations she stabbed her Jersey Shore dad and his girlfriend dead, authorities announced. Sherry Lee Heffernan, of Landenberg, is accused of killing John Enders, 87, of Surf City, and Francoise Pitoy, 75, of Manchester, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer and Surf City Police Chief John N. Casella, Jr. said. Surf City police found the bodies of Enders and Pitoy on Sunday around 4 p.m. at a North 7th Street home while conducting a welfare check, police said. There were no swimming advisories or closures as of Thursday evening for New Jersey beaches on the NJDEP website. A water sample at the Stockton Avenue beach in Long Beach Township showed elevated levels two days in a row, prompting the closure Wednesday. 8th Tornado Across NJ, PA Confirmed In Lehigh County The National Weather Service has confirmed a tornado touched down in Lehigh County during Thursday's storm -- making that the eighth across New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania. First Responders Called To Ocean County Building Collapse, Workers Trapped Firefighters, police and EMS crews were called to Ocean County on a report of a building collapse, authorities said. The top floors of a three-story home under construction on Bayview Avenue in Long Beach Township collapsed, according to an initial, unconfirmed report. Workers were apparently trapped on the roof and two medevac helicopters were en route about 9 a.m. on Thursday, initial reports said. Watch: Harrowing Video Shows Shark Attacking Dolphin At Popular Jersey Shore Beach Video footage of a shark attacking a dolphin off the shore in Ocean County is going viral. The clip was posted on YouTube by Sean Donohue, who said he witnessed the encounter near 106th Street Beach in Long Beach Township. There were unconfirmed reports that the dolphin was injured by a boat propeller and the blood in the water caused the sharks to attack. Long Beach Township Police Captain Kevin Mahon confirmed with TAPinto that this encounter did take place and that more than one shark was spotted Thursday morning.  Mahon was not immediately available for comment on Friday. Barnegat Contractor Gets Plea-Bargained 3 Years For Ripping Off Hurricane Victims A 50-year-old contractor from Barnegat was sentenced to a plea-bargained three years in prison Friday for overcharging 19 homeowners in repairs following Hurricane Sandy. George LaRosa was also ordered to pay $456,650 in restitution to the victims in Stafford Township, Lacey Township, Toms River Township, Long Beach Township, Ship Bottom and Little Egg Harbor, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer. LaRosa, the owner and operator of GL Construction, entered into 2014-15 contracts for agreed upon hurricane repairs.  He kept the vast majority of …
