In late June, Peters was riding his motorcycle northbound on Route 40 through Edgewood when a driver in a Lincoln Navigator made a U-turn and t-boned him, according to his sister, Sammy Peters.  His bike was crushed and had to be mechanically removed from his body. 1 Extricated, 2 Hospitalized In Glen Rock Crash: Police Two people were hospitalized including one who was extricated in a crash in Glen Rock Monday morning, Feb. 24, police said. A Lincoln Navigator and Nissan Altima collided at Maple Avenue and Harristown Road at approximately 7:40 a.m., Glen Rock Sgt. Michael Trover said. The Glen Rock and Hawthorne Fire Departments responded to assist with extricating one of the drivers from their vehicle. Both drivers were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. The cause of the accident remains under investigation by P.O. Magro and no motor vehicle summonses were issued as of press time.
