Jacob Galliher, age 24, of Pittsfield, died when the Osprey he was in crashed near the island of Yakushima, Japan, on Nov. 29 during a training exercise. The Gilded Age mansion known as Elm Court was constructed in 1886 and sits on 86 acres straddling Stockbridge and Lenox in the Berkshires.
