Two Hospitalized In Lansdale EMS Vehicle Crash Two people were hospitalized in a crash involving an EMS vehicle in Montgomery County, authorities said. The Fairmount Fire Department vehicle was responding to a report of a medical emergency around 6:20 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 10, according to the Lansdale Police Department. On its way, it collided with another vehicle at the intersection of East Fourth and Ridge Streets, police said. Both drivers were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions were not immediately known. The crash remains under investigation by the Lansdale Police Department.

The pedestrian was struck by a possible dark blue Hyundai Sonata exiting the Wissahickon Park Apartments complex in the 700 block of East Main Street, and rushed to an area hospital, Lansdale Borough police said. The driver fled westbound on East Main Street sometime around 5:40 p.m., according to police. The extent of the victim's injuries was not immediately known.
