Former Briarcliff Resident Burt Erickson Passes Away at 100
Burt Erickson, 100 years young, formerly of Briarcliff Manor and Chicago, IL, passed away peacefully on Oct. 23, 2023 at the Veteran’s Association Nursing Home in Montrose, where he received wonderful care. Burt was born on March 8, 1923 in Chicago, the son of Frances and Burton Erickson. He was the oldest of three children. He was predeceased in death by his sister Gertrude “Trudie” Hodges and his brother Jerome “Jerry” Erickson. Burt married the love of his life Rita Marie Jerome on Dec. 27, 1952.
