Shots Fired In Watchung: Prosecutor Gunshots were fired in Watchung on the evening of Monday, March 17, authorities said. At 9:39 p.m., officers responded to a business on Route 22 and discovered gunshot damage to the building of the business, Somerset County Prosecutor John McDonald, Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Chief of County Detectives Francisco Roman Jr., and Watchung Borough Chief of Police Scott Anderle said. No injuries were reported, authorities said. The investigation is ongoing, authorities said.
