A man who previously was reportedly "living in a bad place" and thought to be experiencing homelessness last winter was kindly taken in by a couple – whom he thanked by stabbing – now, he will have a home for several years in a state correctional institution, the Cumberland County District Attorney's office announced on Wednesday. A Shippensburg woman initially confessed to her girlfriend and sister, but now – on the victim's birthday – she has pleaded guilty in front of a judge to shooting a 48-year-old mother of two, the Cumberland County District Attorney's office announced on Friday. Breanna Black, 34 entered guilty pleas to "Criminal Homicide – Murder of the Third Degree and Persons Not to Possess a Firearm in front of the Honorable Jessica E. Brewbaker," on Dec. 8, the DA said.
