For the third straight day, Westchester has seen a decrease in newly reported COVID-19 cases as the county recovers from the post-holiday surge of new infections.
The Westchester Department of Health was reporting 334 new COVID-19 cases out of 5,737 tests administered throughout the county on Tuesday, Feb. 2, the day after one of the largest snowstorms the state has seen in years.
As of Wednesday, Feb. 3, the county was monitoring 9,391 active COVID-19 cases, down from more than 10,000 last week.
